I came up through camera as a 2nd AC/film loader and have worked in TV, film, and commercials for over 10 years. As a DIT I focus on the quality of the image as it's recorded and sent on to post. I can live-grade and apply those grades to dailies, apply to transcodes for editorial, and safely backup and organize data from camera. I monitor scopes for proper exposure, and help to balance the different shots within a scene. Ultimately my goal is to help the DP obtain an optimal image based on their creative goals. I have a full DIT cart and am a Local 600 DIT.
