Apocalypse Vegas, also known as Adventure Combat Ops (ACO), is Las Vegas’s premier, interactive, adrenaline rush. Available as a filming location, Adventure Combat Ops is also a production in itself.
ACO has built a small town in a 40,000 sq. ft. building that simulates a post-apocalyptic setting. The “town” contains 13 fully furnished homes ranging in size, as well as an assortment of car wrecks and spooky alleys.
The facility houses $250,000 in special effects, including: lasers, interactive lighting to simulate explosions, fog machines for smoke simulation, projectors, and 30,000 watts of audio. Together, the entire production is able to create an atmosphere of chaos of a real battle zone in a 1.5 hour immersive experience.
For those who are curious to try out the experience, ACO has a staff of real former Army Rangers, Navy SEALs, Green Beret and Delta Force Operators that prepare and train you to strategically maneuver through a displaced town that has been overtaken by flesh hungry, diseased zombies.
Once you are briefed, tactically equipped and divided into teams, the former Special Ops Warriors will lead you through a gauntlet of chaos in the 38,000 sq. ft. million-dollar build-out, with epic special effects!
