As the world’s only cannabis-themed experience of its kind, Cannabition Cannabis Museum in Downtown Las Vegas offers a uniquely immersive experience with its cannabis-inspired artwork and installations created by leading experiential art and exhibit designers.
With more than twenty entertaining yet also educating exhibits and works of art, visitors can learn more about the historical, medicinal, botanical, wellness, and lifestyle aspects of cannabis as they journey through the 10,500 sq. ft. art museum.
One of Cannabition’s most popular attractions is affectionately known as “Bongzilla.” Designed and built by Jerome Baker Designs, Bongzilla is the world’s biggest bong, standing at 24 feet tall. The handmade and fully functional water pipe requires a blowtorch to light and an elevator to get to the mouthpiece.
Another huge attraction is the “Great Red Shark,” which is the actual iconic 1973 Chevrolet Caprice convertible from Hunter S. Thompson’s Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Donated by Thompson’s widow Anita as a way to pay tribute to her husband’s legacy and bring awareness to marijuana laws that destroy families, the exhibit at Cannabition became the first public viewing of the car since Thompson’s death.
Some of the other pieces of art include a giant cannabis seed, an oversized Raw joint, the world’s largest PAX, an indoor cannabis farm, a live art installation by master of illusion Darel Carey, a slide that empties into a pool of handmade foam nugs, and more.
