Situated in the Las Vegas Arts District is Esther’s Kitchen, a prime restaurant filming location serving seasonal Italian soul food prepared from scratch. It is named after Chef James Trees’ great aunt Esther who not only paid for Chef Trees to attend The Culinary Institute of America but when she passed away in 2016, the nest egg she left the Las Vegas native gave him the opportunity to open his own restaurant.

The 2,100 sq. ft. restaurant features a 10’8″ tall ceiling height with an open kitchen, spacious bar, abundant natural lighting, intimate dining, and modern-vintage style decor. Desert Companion magazine named it one of the city’s best restaurants as well as the Best Italian Restaurant in its “Best of the City” issue.

Some artistic details of Esther’s Kitchen include a hand-painted mural accompanying the outdoor patio, a custom neon sign of the restaurant’s name in the chef’s handwriting, and a funky alleyway next door adorned with graffiti paintings.
