Fashion Show is film friendly and has a variety of settings available as the property is Las Vegas Blvd facing. At nearly 2 million square feet, Fashion Show is the largest shopping destination on the Las Vegas Strip and one of the largest shopping centers in the USA.
With over 250 stores, 25 dining choices and 8 department stores, Fashion Show is an iconic shopping, dining, and entertainment destination. Live entertainment includes weekly New York-style runway shows with the hottest fashion brands, incorporating both live music and dance.
One of the most recognizable features of Fashion Show is the enormous silver disc resembling a UFO that serves as “The Cloud” that shades Fashion Show mall from the Nevada desert heat.
“The Cloud,” at The Strip entrance, is about 128 ft above the sidewalk and is 480 ft long. During the day, the structure provides shade for the entrance, and at night it serves as a movie screen.
Fun Fact: Nurielle (a women’s clothing store located in Fashion Show Mall) appeared in an episode of MTV’s show ‘My Super Sweet 16’ in 2008 during a quick mother/daughter shopping trip to Vegas to purchase a dress for the party.
Renovated in 2013, Fashion Show is home to Las Vegas’ best collection of retail and responds to both the visitor and resident market. Residents want a more comprehensive mix of categories such as home, fashion, and lifestyle while domestic and international visitors are seeking luxury apparel, popular name brands, or trend-setting accessories. The 250-plus stores run the gamut of prices, styles, and age appeal.
You can catch one of their regular fashion shows every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. They are free to watch. During the winter, the mall also has scheduled snowstorms inside! Santa Claus makes special appearances, giving a high-energy performance on the runway with his group of elf helpers.
The Fashion Show Mall’s center-north Strip location puts it within easy walking distance to tens of thousands of hotel rooms. These include the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino (2,884 rooms) and two of the top ten largest hotels in the world: the second largest being the Venetian/Palazzo with 7,117 rooms and the 7th largest being the Wynn/Encore with 4,750 rooms.
