Just a mile and a half from the famed Las Vegas Strip lies a much lesser known hidden gem, the Las Vegas Chinatown Plaza.

Chinatown Plaza is one of the most exciting and fascinating shopping centers in Las Vegas. It is a bright and colorful shopping center that stands out with its unique Tang Dynasty architecture and eclectic Asian cultures. It is also Las Vegas’ largest concentration of Asian businesses.

From supermarkets to Chinese herbal shops, restaurants, bakeries, home décor stores, beauty salons, foot reflexology spas, travel agencies, realty firms, and more, whatever you need, you’ll find it at Las Vegas Chinatown Plaza.

In addition to authentic Asian cuisines and cultures, Chinatown Plaza also hosts a variety of community events each year, such as Chinese New Year Celebrations, for residents and visitors.

The entrance of its parking lot is marked by a beautifully crafted traditional Chinese arch. There is a statue of “The Journey to the West” and the Monkey God at the front of the Mall as these are figures in the classical Tang Dynasty-era Chinese literature.

Chinese music flows throughout the covered walkways outside the shops. Framed posters along the walk’s interior walls illustrate Chinese customs, arts, and entertainment, while open shop doors beckon visitors with intriguing glimpses and aromas of Asia.

FUN FACT: Las Vegas Chinatown is home to the only Chinese bookstore in Las Vegas, Great Wall Bookstore, where you’ll find Chinese books, CDs, DVDs, handbags, traditional crafts & other items.

Filmography at the Plaza includes many movies, short films, Kung Fu short films, modeling photo shoots, import car videos, DJ promo videos, and even a few international projects such as Farewell Las Vegas (China) and, most recently, 7 Days Alive (Hong Kong), which also did some filming at Silverton Casino and Lodge.
