In the heart of Downtown Las Vegas sits the Plaza Hotel & Casino, a historical icon that was known to be the largest hotel and casino in the world with just over 500 rooms when it opened in 1971. Today, it offers more than 1,000 spacious rooms and suites. An extensive $35 million renovation project took place from 2010-2011 to include a variety of modern and contemporary upgrades to guest rooms, restaurants, and entertainment outlets.
Going beyond the bright neon lights to attract the attention of nearby pedestrians, the Plaza Hotel & Casino has fully embraced downtown’s growing art culture with three vibrant and awe-inspiring murals on the exterior of its towers that span 21 stories.
Another grand feature of the casino-hotel is the 70,00 sq. ft. rooftop pool deck that offers 6 brand new cabanas, a 12-person hot tub, and an amazing view overlooking the Fremont Street Experience. Recreational activities on the rooftop include Pickleball, mini-craps, blackjack, table tennis, cornhole, and more.
The state-of-the-art fitness center includes traditional exercise equipment like treadmills and dummbells along with some nontraditional workout equipment, such as battle ropes, sledgehammers for hitting tires, boxing bag, medicine balls, and more.
