Sugar’s Home Plate is a sports-themed restaurant located in the heart of downtown Overton, NV. The legendary spot is owned and operated by Ray “Sugar” and Judy Metz, who are well known for their community involvement and enthusiasm for all kinds of sports.

Opened on April 10, 1991, the restaurant features a baseball diamond painted on the outside of the building as well as a variety of sports memorabilia on display throughout its walls and ceilings. Pennants, posters, jerseys, bats, autographed pictures, and other collectible items offer a fun and casual atmosphere. Ample parking is also available for large crews and production vehicles.

Filming scenes for a movie or television show here can center around friends meeting up for a few drinks at the bar, partners in crime having breakfast and coffee at one of their classic red leather booths after a late night out, or even a kids’ sports team celebrating after winning a game.
