NEVADA FILM OFFICE PRODUCTION DIRECTORY LISTING & ADVERTISING FAQ

Q: What is the Nevada Production Directory?

The Nevada Production Directory (NPD) is the number one resource tool used by industry professionals and their crews planning or conducting productions in Nevada. Published online annually the NPD highlights Nevada’s professional crews, production equipment, expendables and supplies, state‐of‐the‐art production and post‐facilities, insert stages and studios, one‐of‐a‐kind locations and support services.

Q: Why is it $25 per category?

The Nevada Production Directory is a resource for serious, qualified business people. By charging for listings, we are able to dissuade indifferent and businesses and individuals.

For this minimal fee, you are listed on our website 24/7, fully accessible to those that do business outside of the traditional work hours and overseas.

Q: When Is the registration period?

Instead of a set renewal period for all listings, the digital directory will allow all listings to be active for 1 year from the date of payment. When your listing is set to expire, you will receive an email notification that it is time to renew. If you don’t renew before the expiration date, you’ll receive an email letting you know that your listing is now expired and no longer visible on the website.

Q: How can I register?

You can register yourself at nevadafilm.com.  You will create your own user name and password which you should retain as you can update and/or edit your listings at 24/7.

Q. I forgot my username and/or password, what do I do?

You can visit the password recovery page to reset your password. Usernames are connected to the email address you signed up with and you can login with either your username or email address.

Q:  Is there a limit to the number of category listings? Why?

Yes. The online listings allow the registrant to provide a wealth of additional information in the descriptive paragraph as well as a credit list, hyperlinks to your website, the ability to upload your full resume, and video links to showcase your work and/or business.  Additionally, all the information entered in the descriptive paragraph is tagged to appear in free form searches in the online directory so users can find your listing based on the search terms they enter.

Q: Why do I need proof of residency / business license?

This requirement falls in line with the same requirement outlined in our transferable film tax incentive program.  The Nevada Production Directory is designed to market individuals who reside in Nevada full time and companies who are licensed to do business in our State.  We will accept State, County and City business licenses for companies and valid driver’s license or identification card issued by the Nevada Department of Motor Vehicles for individuals. The online version and published Nevada Production Directory have been created to market Nevada crew and Nevada Businesses.

Q: What is the approval process?

Once we have received the required identification/licensing, we will approve your listing, however the NFO reserves the right to refuse listings of individuals or companies seeking to list in categories in which they are not qualified for or do not belong.

Q: I registered online, but my listing is not showing.

ALL listings go into a holding area pending approval by the NFO staff. If you cannot provide the necessary proof of residency, business license, or there is something questionable about your listing, it will not be approved and therefore will not appear on the website. If proof of residency is not received within 30 days of submitting your listing, your listing will be deleted.

Q: I made a change and edited my listing but I cannot see the changes, why?

EVERY SINGLE edit you make to your listing means that will go back to the holding area to be approved by the NFO staff.  All edited listings will be in a holding area pending approval of the NFO staff.

Q. Is there anything else I can do to market myself or my business to potential productions?

Placing a paragraph description listing about yourself or your company in the Directory is the best way to be seen by potential productions. You can enhance your marketing by placing a digital display ad in the online NPD. (Details coming soon)
