Céline Dion, one of the most widely respected and successful performers in pop music history and Las Vegas resident performer at Caesars Palace, has partnered up with unisex children’s clothing brand nununu to release her own line of gender neutral clothing called “Célinununu.”

Co-owners and designers Iris Adler and Tali Milchberg, created nununu as an alternative fashion line to typical children’s clothing. “It goes against fashion’s narrow set of beliefs and breaks free from over-stimulating kid clichés by introducing children to the wonderful mystery of minimalism. nununu lets kids shine at every stage with a kickass cocktail of attitude and a big sense of humor.”

The purpose of the new Célinununu line is to voice out a new message through kids fashion – equality and respect for mankind are the higher most values, because it’s all about people. According to the new website dedicated to her line, “CELINUNUNU liberates children from the traditional roles of boy/girl, and enables younger people to grow on values of equality with the freedom to strengthen their own power of personality based on mutual respect.”

The collection includes everything from day wear to shoes, dresses, and clothing for babies. Adorned with patterns of stars, skulls, the alphabet and even the phrase “new order,” there is no pink or blue in sight.

As part of the marketing campaign for the new line, Céline Dion appeared in and narrated a new commercial. The spot was filmed on location in Henderson, NV at Roseman University of Health Sciences. The commercial follows Céline as she breaks into a hospital and makes her way to the maternity ward, where male and female newborns are evenly divided into blue and pink sides of the room.

Once in the maternity ward, the narration of Céline continues, “We miss the past; they dream of tomorrow. We may thrust them forward into the future, but the course will always be theirs to choose.” She then blows black and silver sparkles around the room, erasing the colors on the walls and transforming the babies’ color-coded attire into new black-and-white clothing.

The ad then has a funny twist as she’s discovered by security guards and arrested for trespassing. She assures the guards that everything is okay because she is Céline Dion but her celebrity status fails to keep her from spending a night in jail.
