Charley Varrick is a 1973 neo-noir action crime film directed and produced by Don Siegel. The film is based on the novel The Looters by John H. Reese. It stars Walter Matthau as a crop-duster and former stunt pilot who stages a bank robbery with his wife and their friend, unaware that they are stealing money from the Mob.
