The film was inspired by Producer Doug Draizin and Co-Producer Anna-Maria Davis’s relationship. Davis is a Las Vegas native who grew up in Boulder City and wanted to show that not only is life in Las Vegas normal, but that there is more to Nevada than Las Vegas. Through Salma Hayek’s character, who is a “photographer dedicated to capturing the beauty of Southern Nevada’s desert landscape,” people who have seen the movie can appreciate how beautiful the State of Nevada is.
