What began as a passion project has now turned into a full-fledged “feature in the making.” Murder 4 Dummies is a 45 minute horror/dark comedy short that was released in 2017. This local Las Vegas, NV indie project allowed some very motivated and talented young actors, artists, and filmmakers to come together and learn new skills by doing things they have never done before.
For many of the production team, it was a project full of “firsts” – it was Grant Cox’s first time scoring a film; it was Kellie Dee Christensen, Brian Martinez, and Alfredo Muniz’s first time producing, directing, and writing; it was Marc Ravasco’s first time color correcting and doing sound design for an entire film; it was Devin Teer’s first major acting role (source).
This local team of filmmakers has expressed such a great amount of gratitude for the opportunities they have been given, they make Nevada proud to cultivate a community of up-and-comers who work hard and appreciate every moment experiencing the film production lifestyle.
