Rocky Balboa

Rocky Balboa is the sixth installment of the Rocky film series. Released in 2006, Rocky Balboa was meant to be the last of the Rocky movies, but when the opportunity came several years later to have Sylvester Stallone’s iconic character come back as a mentor, Stallone agreed to reprise his role and Creed came out in 2015.

Where Was Rocky Balboa Filmed In Nevada?

In Rocky Balboa, Rocky’s last fight with Mason “The Line” Dixon was filmed at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Actual crowd scenes from a real middleweight title rematch hosted at the Mandalay Bay arena between Bernard Hopkins and Jermain Taylor were used in the production.

The crowd also got to enjoy being filmed as part of the movie’s press conferences, weigh-ins, and fight.
