Jacobs Family Berry Farm is a historic 5-acre farm/ranch in Gardnerville, NV known for its picturesque location and its blackberry and raspberry field that is home to approximately 1,000 plants and 16 varieties of berries.
Located on the original homestead of the Lampe family, the Jacobs family has done a tremendous job in restoring many of the historic buildings to picture perfect condition and enabling the public to enjoy the prominent structures, landscaping, and agriculture in an exquisite capacity. Their hard work and dedication to the preservation of the buildings and structures has resulted in the Jacobs Family Berry Farms being listed in the Nevada Register of Historic Places in April 2018.
Other features of the Jacobs Family Berry Farm include:
- 14 original historic structures that have been restored and well-maintained (the most prominent ones are the Gothic Revival Ranch House, the Barn, and the Creamery)
- Agricultural space adapted into berry farming and bee keeping space
