The Department of Film and the UNLV Short Film Archive are pleased to present Spring Flicks 2016. Spring Flicks is open to UNLV student filmmakers, UNLV Alumnus, and other filmmakers.

The Spring Flicks screenings will be held on Friday, April 29th, Saturday April 30th, and Sunday, May 1st.

All entry forms, along with the $35 entry fee, are due at UNLV Performing Box Office no later than Friday, April 15, 2016 by 6pm.

All films are due in the UNLV Film Office (FDH 4th floor) no later than Friday, April 22d by 6pm.

***Films can be no more than 15 minutes in length. No filmmaker may turn in more than 4 films with their name listed as Director. This goes for directing partnerships as well.*** (NOTE: There needs to be a separate application for each film entry; you cannot combine multiple films in a single entry).

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not like or you do not accept the rules and deadlines of Spring Flicks 2016, please do NOT ENTER THE CONTEST! SERIOUSLY! The level of bad manners and bad behavior of filmmakers in past years has become unacceptable. If you are rude or discourteous to anyone working for Spring Flicks 2016, you risk your entry being disqualified.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE: Absolutely NO Alcoholic beverages permitted in CBC-A-106 during the screenings. Violators will be asked to leave the auditorium!

THE FISHER SPACE PEN COMMERCIAL AWARD WINNERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED AND AWARDS PRESENTED AT SPRING FLICKS 2016.

ENTRY FEE IS $35
Make check, cashiers check, or money order out to “UNLV Board of Regents.” Credit Cards also accepted. All entry forms with $35 fee are due NO LATER than Friday, April 15th, 2016 by 6pm. They are to be dropped off at the UNLV Performing Box Office. The Film Dept. cannot accept the entry fee or entry form.

Contestants should hand in all films to SPRING FLICKS program director DAVID SCHMOELLER’s office (FDH 425).

Films are due no later than Friday, April 22th by 6pm. Entry Fee of $35 is nonrefundable.
