Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (CASLV) is a K-12 state-sponsored charter school with an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). CASLV’s model promotes social responsibility amongst culturally diverse communities and encourages students to become lifelong learners. Its academic model has earned CASLV a spot in U.S. News and World Report’s top 10 best high schools in Nevada.

This college-prep public charter school began operating in 2007 at Tamarus Campus in Las Vegas as a replication of the original Coral Academy of Science Reno. Over the years, the Coral Academy of Science has grown to six total campuses and selects its students via lottery.

Three campuses are located in Las Vegas – the Nellis Air Force Base Campus, Centennial Hills Campus, and Tamarus Campus. The other three campuses are in Henderson – the Eastgate Campus, Windmill Campus, and Sandy Ridge Campus.

The Windmill Campus is approximately 23,000 sq. ft. while the Tamarus Campus is approximately 16,000 sq. ft.

The Eastgate Campus in Henderson was recently opened for the 2018-2019 school year. The 40,000 sq. ft. building features a floor plan identical to the Centennial Hills Campus with spacious classrooms ranging from 800-900 sq. ft. filled with natural light.

The Sandy Ridge Campus is also approximately 40,000 sq. ft. The campus held a grand opening in fall 2018 for a stand-alone 13,419 sq. ft. gymnasium with a weight training room, locker rooms, two classrooms, offices, and storage areas.
