Located at the cross streets of S Fort Apache Rd and W Flamingo Rd, the Las Vegas Ice Center is a film-friendly ice rink. It is currently the only facility in Las Vegas that offers two full sheets of ice. One is NHL regulation size at 200 ft by 85 ft, and the second is slightly smaller at 191 ft by 82 ft (source).

Las Vegas Ice Center has a full service snack bar as well as a full service hockey and figure skating shop that offers more than 2,000 square feet of gear and apparel. Programs for hockey and figure skating accommodate people of all ages and skill levels, and it even includes an endless ice skating treadmill for advanced skaters. The center also provides custom boot work and custom skate sharpening services for professional skaters who are looking for increased performance in their stride, safety, stability and maneuverability.

Making History

Las Vegas has recently become the home of its first major league sports franchise and the first NHL expansion team since the year 2000, the Vegas Golden Knights. The Vegas Golden Knights conducted their Inaugural Development Camp not too long ago from June 27 – July 1, 2017, which gave Vegas Golden Knights fans the opportunity to watch on-ice practice and scrimmage sessions for free at the Las Vegas Ice Center.
