Located adjacent to the small, historic ghost town of Vya in northwestern Nevada, the Old Yella Dog Ranch and Cattle Co is a working cattle company that offers campsites and RV sites with water and electrical hook ups available. Old Yella Dog Ranch and Cattle Co also features a 1500 sq. ft. fully furnished, two bedroom and one bath modern log cabin ranch that is available for use as a filming location.

With wide open space all around the ranch house, there are plenty of opportunities for setting up and shooting scenes that require an escape from traffic and noise, such as hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and other outdoor activities. Its remote location away from city lights also help provide a beautiful and serene atmosphere for nighttime stargazing.

In addition to its meadows and year round springs, Old Yella Dog Ranch also offers a 5-acre spring fed pond. Other features include dog runs and shelters, a workshop, storage trailers, ranch equipment, horse corrals and shelters, and a 40-foot round pen.
