This is the historic Sutro Tunnel site! We have 28 acres of historic property with 12 structures on site, our own lake, historic items and the Sutro Tunnel! Only 50 minutes from the Reno Airport and in close proximity to Virginia City. You can stay in one of our partners Bed and Breakfasts, in one of the local hotels or if you're into experiencing the adventure, you can rough it at the site. We do have electricity and a porta pottie. Liability waivers and hold harmless agreements will need to be signed.
Want to experience the night life when not working? Virginia City is just up the hill from us, they have gambling, bars, restaurants, entertainment and more, while you're filming at our exclusive historic site away from crowds and difficult permitting. There's none of that in this unique location.

The historic Sutro Tunnel Site is 28 acres and includes everything and more that you see listed above. Contact us to go on a private tour and see what we have to offer. As the only privately owned Ghost Town/Historic Site and massive tunnel in the area we have much to offer. Not only is there the site but there is also the history. Similar to the Deadwood of South Dakota but with even more drama and a lot more money made. We are a nonprofit organization that is easy to work with and excited to work with you.
