Property changes with seasons: snow covered mountains in winter, winter wonderland during snow season, sometimes the creek bed is completely dry (other times it is partially full or completely underwater to the extent it can be kayaked).

Quirky history: a man in a Toyota Tundra drove through neighbor's' properties and ended up at this location after hitting a fence post (property was lined with firetrucks and police to get him out), a NHP officer pitched his cruiser sideways while he was still in it to stop a drunk driver on the highway between this location and neighbors' (also in the local newspaper). A medivac was called in - landed directly on the highway. Unfortunately, human remains were located on a neighboring property which members of this location discovered. Prior to that an EOD was discovered at this location resulting in the NAS Fallon explosive department coming out to x-ray it before removing it.
