“Lightskin Lil Wayne” is American rapper and hip hop recording artist Tyga’s tribute to legendary rapper Lil Wayne. The music video was shot on location in Las Vegas and in less than a month after its release, it amassed more than 22 million views on YouTube.
Throughout the “Lightskin Lil Wayne” music video, Tyga recreates a variety of iconic scenes from many of Lil Wayne’s classic music videos like “A Milli,” “Go DJ,” “Fireman,” “Lollipop,” and “Money On My Mind.” The song lyrics pay homage to more of Lil Wayne’s hits, and Tyga even gives a nod to his mentor’s signature fashion style with his clothing choices.
