For the August 2018 issue of men’s lifestyle magazine Men’s Journal, international movie star Henry Cavill visited Valley of Fire State Park with photographer Jeff Lipsky for a special cover shoot featuring the Nevada location’s gorgeous red rock backdrop. While Cavill brought along his best friend and emotional support dog Kal, he did note that the beauty of the site helped him use it as an acting tool, making the shoot easy to do.

Cavill also got to ride around on a Ducati motorcycle, highlighting his favorite pasttime and showing off his propensity for adventure. Cavill is a bit of a motorcycle enthusiast and after having such a fun photo shoot at Valley of Fire State Park, Cavill admitted that the location grew on him and he would be tempted to do a road trip in the Nevada desert.
