Established in the 1950’s, the Blind Center of Nevada is one of the oldest charities in Las Vegas. It is a full service day center for the Blind Community of Southern Nevada, providing resources and assistance to people who are blind or visually impaired. Some of the services the Blind Center of Nevada offers is job training and culinary education as well as employment opportunities at its different businesses, which include electronic recycling, refurbishing and resale, electric pencil sharpener assembly, and event & culinary / catering services.

The Blind Center of Nevada recently expanded and completed a brand new facility that includes a 4,000 sq. ft. Great Room with a built-in stage and roll up door for direct load in on stage and a 3,200 sq. ft. multipurpose room with a built-in stage and Braille wall; however, that’s not all. The entire campus offers a unique playground of opportunities for filming a variety of scenes.
