Lake Las Vegas consists of a 320-acre artificial lake and the 3,592-acre developed area around the lake. The area also includes several hotels and casinos, including the Monte Lago Village Resort, the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort, the Hilton Lake Las Vegas, and Casino MonteLago.

Sometimes referred to as Lake Las Vegas Resort, Lake Las Vegas is home to about 20,000 residents living in the community. In addition to the luxurious hotels and casinos offered, it also includes a sports club, a golf club, restaurants, outdoor and water activities, and even its own village and grocery store.

In the 2001 film America’s Sweethearts starring John Cusack and Julia Roberts, the Hyatt Regency Resort at Lake Las Vegas served as a “remote location” for the characters to escape their public Hollywood lives. Lake Las Vegas also appeared in Oceans Thirteen and Lucky You. Andrea Bocelli: Under The Desert Sky was even filmed here as well.
