Established in 1947, Rattlesnake Raceway is the oldest, continuously operated oval track racing facility in Nevada. The quarter mile, high banked, dirt oval track is administered by Lahontan Auto Racing Association (LARA), a nonprofit organization made up of racers and race enthusiasts.
Located in Fallon, NV, Rattlesnake Raceway hosts many car shows and competitions every year, including the Dirt Track Championship. The Dirt Track Championship has been running for more than three decades and is like the grand finale of summer racing. With two full days of racing and large payouts, the championship draws many visitors worldwide and one year, it even had a turnout of 136 cars!

Filmography
Rattlesnake Raceway was a filming location for the 2007 indie The Go-Getter starring Lou Taylor Pucci, Zooey Deschanel, and Jena Malone.
In 2006, Spike TV also released a reality television short series and web series called Rattlesnake Raceway, which followed the family owned and operated dirt track race team known as Lumsdem Motorsports through part of their 2006 racing season. The Lumsden family have long been involved in the organization and maintenance of Rattlesnake Raceway and its events, serving as frequent volunteers and LARA board members for many decades.
