Springs Preserve 10 Years Photo Contest

The Springs Preserve invites all professional, amateur, and youth photographers to submit images taken throughout Nevada to submit entries to their juried photo contest. Photographs will be judged on their originality, technical skill and subject matter. Cash prizes will be awarded for each division and winners will be on display in the Big Springs Gallery Oct. 19, 2017-Jan. 7, 2018.

2017 BLM NV & TRAVELNEVADA PHOTO CONTEST

The Bureau of Land Management Nevada is seeking amazing photos that highlight the best of BLM Nevada’s lands and historical sites in these categories:

• People exploring Nevada—Share photos of your favorite activites and adventures on BLM lands across Nevada. Whether that be volunteering, working, camping, hiking, biking, boating, fishing, kayaking, skiing, climbing or riding…you name your adventure. Don’t forget new people you may come across while exploring; capturing true Nevada characters in their own element will be considered as well.
• Weird & Wild—Take a walk on the wild side with photos of Wildlife, Wilderness and Wildflowers!
• Employee—BLM/TravelNevada employees can submit their photos for a special employee category.

Winners will be featured in the 2017 BLM Nevada Planner and BLM Nevada and TravelNevada social media channels, (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Flickr.) Winning photos and story will be a featured and promoted adventure on TravelNevada.com.
