This year, Spike’s original hit tattoo competition television series Ink Master spun off a new series called Ink Master: Angels in which four top female competitors from Season 8 of Ink Master travel around the country to compete against some of America’s most talented tattoo artists. The tattoo artists participate in a variety of challenges against the “Angels” to earn a spot on Season 10 of Ink Master, which will air on the Paramount Network in 2018.

The season premiere of Ink Master: Angels – “Viva Las Angels” recently aired on October 3rd, starting off with an episode filmed at Americana Tattoo in Las Vegas, NV. Local Las Vegas tattoo artists Tone Chingon, Carrie Cameron, and Infamous Jones competed in a series of elimination challenges for the winner to face off against Season 8 Ink Master‘s Ryan Ashley Malarkey in a final challenge. The theme of this episode’s challenge was to tattoo canvases affected by addiction.
