Fun Fact: Seth Rogen was nominated for a Canadian Comedy Award for Best Actor for his role in ‘Knocked Up.’ However, the award went to Michael Cera for his role in ‘Superbad,’ which was co-written by Seth Rogen.

Where Was Knocked Up Filmed?

Knocked Up was filmed in various locations throughout California and Nevada. The Las Vegas scenes were filmed on location at Planet Hollywood, which was known then as the Aladdin Resort & Casino.

The circus scenes in Knocked Up were filmed at Cirque Du Soleil’s longest running Vegas show Mystère at Treasure Island. After having an easy shoot, Apatow later discovered that the head of PR for Cirque du Soleil and the one in charge of approving everything babysat him when he was 8 years old (source).
