Las Vegas is such a unique place to explore and experience that the number of songs about Las Vegas or inspired by Las Vegas are endless. Here are just four songs that capture the highs, the lows, and the realness of Las Vegas.

Elvis Presley, “Viva Las Vegas”

Known as the unofficial theme song of the city of Las Vegas, “Viva Las Vegas” is one of Elvis Presley’s most iconic songs. It was recorded on July 10, 1963 for the film of the same name (learn more).

Matt Goss, “A Vegas Summer”

Released in 2016, Matt Goss wanted to write a song that encompassed the feel of a beautiful Las Vegas summer.

Shamir, “Vegas”

“Vegas” is a song by local North Las Vegas singer Shamir who wanted to give insight to the dark side of town, beyond the neon lights and tourist attractions.

AC/DC’s song “Sin City” is from their 1978 “Powerage” album, which they would perform often during their concerts.
